Empower Me

Nobody knows how weak I am, better than You;
Nobody sees all of my needs, better than You.
And nobody has the power to change me,
from what I was born to be,
Jesus be strong in my weakness,
Empower me!

like a rushing river flowing to the sea,
Lord send your Holy spirit flowing now through me,
Till I'm living as Your child,
Victorious and free,
Send the power of Your love, empower me

Nobody's eyes see through my soul, better than Yours;
Nobody's love can make me whole, no one but Yours.
And nobody has the power to lift me,
to reach for eternity,
Jesus break through my defenses,
Empower me!

Who is the God I serve? I serve a loving God, a forgiving God, a God of second chances. I serve a God of healing, I serve a God who loved so much He gave His one and only son that I might have a chance to have a relationship with Him. I serve a God so amazing that you can't contain Him in words. I serve a God who has infinite wisdom, who was and is and is to come, who knows the beginning and the end, who created the universe in 7 days. I serve the perfect and living God. God, who has conquered sin, who has conquered evil, who was conquered the grave.

I serve a God who will never ever let go of me if I fall. I serve a God who will answer all things I ask through His mighty and powerful name in His will. I serve a God who only wants what's best for me.

Learn faith. Be certain, be sure. Do not doubt. For God will never leave nor forsake any one of us. We have fallen so so short of His glory and His perfection, yet He loves us. He knows everything we've done, everything we've thought, every thing about our past, our present and our future. And He loves us all the same. In faith, give ourselves to Him wholly, and let Him lead. He will guide you, empower you, give you light in your darkness, strength in your weakness, living waters in your deserts, health in sickness, riches in poverty, wisdom in times of trial. Jesus breakthrough my defenses, Empower me. We are not our own - Cor 6:19- 20 "your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God. You are not your own; you were bought at a price." Nothing we have is ours, but everything belongs to Him. So give ourselves wholly unto Him. We can only give back because He first gave us. We are weak - we cannot do anything without Christ. So commit unto Him.

Jesus, take the wheel.

I like the rain - just a little shower, gentle droplets.
I like running in it..Jumping, dancing, singing.
I like the way it makes you feel free..
Spinning myself round and round, believing I can fly..
I like..the cool wind embracing my face
and the pitter patter of the droplets on my skin

I want to have a closer walk with God
God is real, I believe it. Amen! I want to draw nearer to Him
I want to shine his glory, so that all may see that I am a child of God!
God is awesome!
