God is good :) more than good, God is just beautiful and perfect beyond words... And He loves us. how awesome is that! :D


Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.


God never shortchanges us... He loves us so much that when he created man, he did so in His own image! He created us in His own PERFECT image... He didn't choose to create us in the image of anything less than the best.. anything substandard.. He didn't do it in a shoddy manner, he created us in the image of the BEST.


What does that mean to you? I asked a friend that this morning. We were fearfully and wonderfully made. From every organ down to every last cell in our bodies - we were fearfully and wonderfully made. Our God is so so powerful, and does such wonderful things and sometimes we just take it for granted. Like my friend pointed out.. Some things that we do just comes so naturally to us especially with all the advances we have in technology and everything, and we don't think about how or where these things originated from.. [his example was music.. "comes from such complex parts of the human brain.. like how in the world does someone come up with this"..] And it's really quite "wow", and well, it's just so amazing, isn't it?


For me, even little things like the sun rising, or the fact that I'm alive and awake, the fact that I have a roof over my head, these things that I take for granted..Finances, shelter, etc... Where do they come from? My parents? Where do my parents get it from? It's all God's blessings and provisions. Even in our everyday life, He uses our growing up process - our experiences, our ups and downs, the people he places around us - to mould us into the man/woman of God he wants us to be. It's awesome 'cos I know that no matter what, God NEVER shortchanges us. He created us in His likeness, and no matter what happens in our lives, it's always a learning experience - a change for Him to mould us in whichever way He wants to, and if we let Him do that, it is only for the best and nothing less.


:) The weather yesterday was getting rainy and cold. I was freeeeezing. Cancelled our Friday arvo vicmart rounds with Cel as it was pouring. I know right, how weird is that - it never pours in Melbourne. Ohwell... The two of us headed back to my apartment for a bowl of hot soup and a cup of milo instead :) It was good. Later on met Dhehan for a bit since he was around the area (it was his birthday yesterday - so Happy Birthday Dhe! See you tonight ^^) and well, yea just glad the rain stopped later in the evening...


Then Tjin popped by in the evening, we just hungout for awhile and chatted before heading down to the Melb Uni night market to see what was up there. It wasn't as "happening" as I thought it might be, but we did bump into cool people there! like Joshua and Annabel! :D Instead of eating nightmarket food four of us headed down to the city for dinner. LOL... Then I met Ann-Nyee for a HTHT (I quote Josh, as Singaporean as he is, to use short form for even heart-to-heart-talk). :D And it was good too.


Still kinda have quite a fair bit of things on my mind, but God is getting back to me on it :) and I am glad for that. Slowly but surely. :D I'm going to be off now, heading down to Glen Waverly to bum with Chaz! Yay! Confessions of a Shoppaholic, hopefully... Then off to Dhehan's gathering at loulous@Knox later tonight. Awesome stuff. CHAZ HERE I COME. YAYYY
