James 1: 2 - 6
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish it's work so you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault and it wil be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.


(: Sometimes we don't see what God has in store.. but we just have to trust that He has. Sometimes I wonder why things happen, why I feel a certain way, why I behave a certain way. Sometimes I regret things, sometimes I wish I could change things I've done... But now I have to start learning to ask myself.. where are teh learning points? If I were given a chance to do it again woudl I do it differently? How? What does God want me to see from this. Where is the wisdom and experience to be gained?


These are things I don't ask. These are things I need to ask. I'm gonna share one thing I have learnt recently.. It is that at times , we think God isn't there. But I'm really glad to be a christian, bcos i know He is. THrough everything, the ups, the downs, the not-ups-and-not-downs.. through the fun, the boring, the sad, the happy.. He is there. and whenever we need someone, He is there to lean on, to turn to and to trust. (:


"Even though we stray way at times because of our pride and ignorance, He's always patiently waiting for us to run back into His embrace" - this was by a very very very close friend of mine. (: And it is so true. Thank God for everything! And commit everything else unto the Lord. (:


Today I want to thank God for teaching me that I can find the calm IN the storm with Him in my life. He doesn't promise to take away the storm, but He braves through it with us, and shows us how to do it in a composed manner.. Not (quote Pastor Lawrence Chua, 4Jan09) like a chicken running around without a head. ha!


Praise the Lord, for everything! :D Everything and anything at all. Praise the Lord.
