First I wanna thank my wonderful brother for letting me use his laptop AND the internet.. (HKD 40 an hour) but that’s actually about SGD8.. so yep it’s quite okay. But THANKS KOR! I’m getting half an hour, he’s getting the other half an hour, so yup I’m actually typing this entry on Microsoft Word first and then copying and pasting it into my blog later to save time (:


I’ll blog about my HK trip since it’s the most recent (I mean, I’m still in HK!). So, our shopping (I’m sure we all relate HK to shopping =p) actually started in the Singapore airport! Heh. Can’t help it, too impatient, must start early. HEHE. Okay actually it’s because our 11am flight got delayed to 1145 so we were looking for things to do, and I was looking for a new fragrance anyway. Getting it in the airport means it’s duty free! No GST out! (: This time we went to the DBS lounge – everything was superbly-nice there, like the chairs, the service, the computers (they were apple!) and everything!! Except the food ): It wasn’t too good >< I think the First Class lounge has a wider and better variety of food, so you can guess what we did after leaving the DBS lounge and learning that our flight was delayed. YES! We chionggged back to the First Class lounge cuz daddy was hungry (: Yummy.


At least the waiting for the flight paid off, not only did we get to eat more food, we also got on the new plane! Ohmygosh! Seriously, check out the Krisworld screen (:






It’s so big!!!!!! *drools* and the seats were big too, it was really awesome-ness (yes, I just invented that word). When we walked past the First Class seats I almost fainted. There’s SO much space in each individual cubicle it’s like you could open a office table there!!!!! (I am not exaggerating, I actually we get less space to ourselves in a classroom than sitting in First class.) On top of that, their Krisworld screen is so big it’s almost like a mini theatre to yourself >< *continues drooling*


On the plane I finished watching “Happy Birthday” which I was actually halfway through from the flight back from Melbourne. Honestly, the only reason I’m watching it is because Louis Khoo acted in it! Admittedly, he looked kinda geeky in this show, BUT HE’S STILL CUTE (: (no, I’m not drooling) hehe.. Another show I watched was “Just Follow Law”. It’s a Singaporean production that my brother does not want to watch, but I have to say although the acting is relatively mediocre, the storyline, if you think deeper into it, is very good. I love the meaning it sends across and it really makes you think about quite a lot of things like what is important to you in life, and it reminds you to treasure those around you and not take people for granted. Besides that, it sets you thinking on whether you really have to be so anal about following rules all the time instead of being open and more versatile. Well enough about the show, although I do encourage pple to watch it. (:


The weather here is just like Singapore – once we stepped off the plane the hot air hit us :s Kor was like “somebody tell me, did we even leave Singapore?” waaa. *melts into a puddle* Can’t wait to get back to Melbourne winter (then again I think I’ll be complaining that it’s too cold. Hmm) We made our way to the hotel to check in and put down our stuff and went on our way shopping! Here are some pics of d hotel…

MANGO AND ZARA HERE ARE HAVING GREAT SALES! And when I say sales right, I don’t mean Singapore 5% kinda “great sale”.. I’m talking 50%-70% off!! REALLY! I went crazy. Haha.. Man I hardly ever ever see anything nice from MNG and Zara that are less than 50SGD! Hehehehe I was being a vainpot in the changing room, so here are some of the nice clothes..and they’re all around 50 or less!! Haha omg I was totally giving in to temptation.

Actually I kinda like this top, but I didn’t buy that day, and yesterday when I went back to try and find it it was gone ): *sob* Ohwell………………………….

I tried other tops that I didn’t take pics of, like a green spag-strap top and a purple jumper which I bought (: Nice! Hehe..Those were all in Mango..I bought a REALLY warm jacket in Zara, it’s RED, my fav colour!! It’s like 700HKD (about 140SGD) which is super cheap for a ZARA jacket which looks so nice and is so warm!!!!! *Grins* OMG you can’t imagine how happy I am from all the shopping la. LOL. That means I shouldn’t be shopping for the rest of the year, I’d reckon…


After all that strenuous (oh..so poor thing 0=p) shopping we had dinner at a restaurant called Zen. It is YUMMY. (as you will see, this whole trip is like.. shop eat shop eat shop eat shop eat) Then we headed down to this place called the ladies market (nu ren jie) for abit more shopping and dessert! I had this one called “glutinous rice balls with mango juice and extra mango jelly” which actually comes with a scoop of mango sorbet too! Didn't take a pic of it, but I will if we go there again in the next coupla days (:

So all this was on the 3rd.. Now for yesterday, the 4th. I think this blog entry is getting kinda long so I’m just gonna try to type less, sum it all up in a nutshell more, and upload more pics instead (: We met Hannah and her family today! A big shoutout to thank you guys for being so superbly hospitable and friendly! Thanks for lunch too! Lunch was at a dimsum place, I forgot the name of it. But here are some pics we took at lunch… and trust me, it’s highly likely only one-tenth of the pics Hannah and I took. (yes the camwhore queens who are.. too-hot-for-you!) okay that was random. But anyway.

This guy (ex prime minister I think) looks so real right! He’s a wax figure. =p I saw Jackie Chan wax figure too.. It was scarily real… I can understand why some people are afraid of wax museums now, it’s the first time I see wax figures and it’s so creeeeepy.

FINALLY! 5th Jul! Haha. Talk about serious shopping, this one was shopping MADNESS. And I mean it. MADNESS >< Bought SOOOO much stuff! Branded, non-branded, really really WOW. I am SO extremely elated that I don’t even know what’s the word to use to describe it. *grins from ear to ear* Met up with Hannah, mi darlinnn.. She joined us in our shopping spree. I bought a new pair of shoes, so many tops, two handbags, a wallet, zomigosh. (: Took a lot of pics with Hannah today but too many to post up so I won’t. I’m only gonna post up pics of FOOOD (so maybe Harris will see it and start drooling *evil grin*) okay okay I’m kidding Harris, but TOO BAD I get to eat and you don’t! (I’m seriously putting on weight though.. gotta go back to sg and hit the gym..) So here’s our TEATIME-BUFFET at a café called “Cova”. The pastries and cakes there are super-duper! The best part : it was a BUFFET! BUFFET!!!!! *gorges self*
