Heyya!


Here's another quickie (: This time it has to be REALLY quick, not like last night's "quick". For those of you who haven't heard, there was some shooter guy on the loose in Melbourne Central area >< Near flinders street.. He tried to shoot a woman (I think) whom he yanked out of the cab by her hair. Two men came to her rescue, one of whom is not even Australian!! He was a tourist! Anyway, in the end, one of the guys died, (the tourist is the one who didn't) and the lady and the tourist are injured and in Royal Melbourne Hospital (which is so near my place)..


Those two guys are seriously noble men!! Sarah Janessa and I were just talking about it last night, how many of us can say that if we were in that situation we would actually have stepped out and helped the victim? It's easy to say yes or no right now but if we're really faced with the situation would that answer change? Heh.. Ohwell >< Very commendable. And my condolences to the family of the man who died, but at least he died a very noble death.


It's interesting though, how the world commends heroes as such, and remembers them for years and years and commemorates their death, but the death of our Saviour (who rose again) is so quickly overlooked. That God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross to save us from eternal damnnation! We were in the position of that woman - vulnerable and in great danger. Imagine how she feels, that someone died in a successful attempt to save her.. He died in her place. That's how I feel.. eternally grateful that Jesus died for us on the cross, to take away my sin my shame my pain my suffering, to pave my way to heaven, to eternal life! Aweeeesome (:


And yea! LSBC people! Heard the camp was fantastic!! "Re-encounter" with God, so many lives were touched, young and old alike. God is so good! I say it again ... GOD IS SO GOOD! In fact good is not enough, but i'll never find a word which is good good good good enough to describe it so yeah >< you get the point, that's what matters. haha. My family was touched in a very personal and deep way by the holy spirit as well, praise the Lord! God is working so greatly this year, I can't wait to see what else He has in store! Indeed 2007 is a special year!


Alright much as I'd like to stay, I have to run. Btw the shooter turned himself in, so I'm very safe, don't worry! Anyway I'm covered by the blood of God (: I'll be safe anyyyywayyyyyyyyyyy. Hehe.! Now all you blog readers who have exams coming up (you know who you are!!!) RUN ALONG AND STOP BLOG-SURFING!! It's time to study!
