I have to make this a quickie because it's like 220am here and I really shouldn't be up.. I just finished making my points for my literature exam and yea I'm really kinda sleepy now =p But I just wanted to blog because I've been wanting to do so for the past say..3 days or so? Maybe more. And my roommate Sarah just went to my blog and said "Gwenniee I'm at your blog!" *pauses and waits for page to load* "ehhh why never update!"
-faints- and therefore I feel the big urge to update.


Y'know, I was thinking of what to type..And I figured after awhile. (: So here goes. I realized that as many of us start freaking out over our literature exams, and mugging like nobody's business, I've started to see this popping out over quite a number of blogs. "The Happiness of Love is a Shooting Star, The Pain of Love is the Darkness that follows..." A quote from the collection of short stories {A Thousand Years Of Good Prayers} by Li YiYun. And just yesterday night, I was thinking to myself how painful it could be to love someone. I guess it has it's pro's and cons yea (: and I was really frustrated over some stuff last night. It can be really a blessing and stuff to love someone, but if the circumstances are not right it's just a pain in the ass "the darkness that follows"...I was doing my Quiet Time after that last night and I read these verses.


Psalms 18:2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
verse 16 He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.
verse 20 The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me
verse 24 The LORD ha rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.


So true, I really thank God so much >< When I flipped open the book and saw verse 2 I was reminded of the strength that I should draw from Him. Sometimes I find it so hard to obey His word, especially when it comes to things like my feelings, my emotions and etcetera, but I was reminded once again that I have nothing to fear for the LORD is my rock and my fortress! Amen! He is the rock that I should build my life on --> a strong base! I felt so much better after that, and I felt that God really loved me so much (:


Note verse 20 and 24.. According to my righteousness. Remember always to stay righteous! Meditate on the word of God and you will gradually learn to walk in His footsteps and grow to be more and more like Him! (That's my goal. hehe)


I was reading Aunty Li Leng's blog just now.. I'm so heartened to see that she's recovering so well! HAppy happy (: I'm taking something off her blog, which apparently was what aunty Lee Yong wrote to her, which I feel is so true.

Dear Lee Yong, I love this and have sent it to Benno.

Amen! Every single moment, no matter what, let us place our trust in Him! Especially now that everyone is mugging their arses off for exams! (: Let us pray in unison that everyone will be able to concentrate well, that all of us will have good recall and be able to study smart, that God will grant us wisdom and that we will all be healthy.. My roomie just fell sick >< so keep her in prayer as well ya!!! God will heal you rahrah!! (: I LOVE YOU (= And also cuz there's a lot of drama(mama) going on around me now [[geez. why is my life so drama. WELL Thank you Jesus for that or else it'd be a boringggg life I guess]] so yep. Just pray that I will be able to focus on what I should focus on.. (and the same for everyone I guess, becuase everyone has their own distractions).

P.S My family just came back from church camp and I heard it was absolutely aweesome! MY BROTHER BOUGHT ME A SOFT TOY!! I'm so happy =p just one church camp and he seems different *chuckles* (alot nicer). ahaha.. alright I'm off to bed now, I took a little bit too long to blog already. Will be back! REMEMBER TO KEEP ALL OF US IN PRAYER OKAY!
P.PS, Praise God I did well (erm I'm not going to define that, but well enough for me to be satisfied so yep that's well enough =p) for my EAP essay (which is like 5% of overall) and I did very well for ACC essay as well!! (cuz 99% of the whole cohort got like full marks??? haha) Praise Him!! Thank you Jesus Thank you Jesus Thank you Jesus!
